Borgo di Tragliata, molto bella!

I had the most beautiful day today at Ostia Antica and Tragliata. We started off at an archaeological site called Ostia Antica and had the opportunity to look at some ancient Roman town. It's pretty cool to see how these towns have been preserved after 1800 years. After the nifty tour, we headed over to Tragliata where we had the most delicious 5 course Italian lunch at the most beauttttiful little village in Italy (a few km off of Rome). I have no idea how Italians eat so many courses. We were so full at the end of our lunch! Each course was so delicious I can't even begin to explain. After lunch we walked around the village and were in awe of the natural scenery.

The trees here look really cool.

Moving on to Borgo di Traliata, a small town in Italy. Too nice. We had lunch here where everything we ate was prepared directly on the farm. Some of the buildings here have been here since 900 A.D. but most were built in the 16th century.
The restaurant where we had our 5-course meal.
No literally...there were so many courses.
I can eat this cheese forever. Delicious.
White wine, of course.
One very, very, very delicious spaghetti.
Chicken was too good. So soft and the potatoes were seasoned to perfection.
Apple "pie" but not really.
Breathtaking scenery. You can never find something like this in LA.
Cannot stop laughing at the picture. This dog is dying for her attention.

I'll always update my blog first before FaceBook. So stay tuned! See you soon. xoxo
